Golden Moment – 4"X4" acrylics on masonite. Another painting of the sun setting on the lake. Both are very different originals... I strive to capture the light as it reflects off the water. I use many thin layers of paint and one final impasto white layer for the highlights. I apply the varnish thick and quick dry it to get a pleasing crackle effect.
