Star Lily – 4"X4" mixed media on masonite. These lilies grow perrenially in my flower bed next to our rock fountain. I love the variations in color from the bright yellow centers to the pink tips. I used Golden Crackle Paste to add texture to the petals before I began to paint. The challenge was the center stamens and differenciating each petal.
