A Painting a Day #76 - Stylized Flower

Stylized Flower– 4"X4" mixed media on masonite.

This painting emulates the symmetry of petals in a flower as they surround the center. It is always very difficult to keep things simple and this painting is an attempt at that. I added the purple and blue color around some petals to add interest and to give the impression of shimmering light.
